Partner Organisations

The Electoral Office works in partnership with the following organisations:
Organisation Relationship
Northern Ireland Office The sponsoring body of the EONI.
Ministry of Justice Provides advice and guidance to the EONI on a range of issues relating to elections policy, procedure, modernisation and legislation.
The Electoral Commission The EONI works with The Electoral Commission to promote voter awareness and provide advice and information to the public about registration and electoral issues.

Department for Work and Pensions

Northern Ireland Housing Executive
These organisations provide the EONI with information which is used to maintain a compresensive and accurate electoral register.
The Audit Commission The EONI exchanges information with the Audit Commission as part of the National Fraud Initiative in order to maintain the accuracy of the electoral register and prevent fraud.
Disability groups including Disability Action, RNIB and RNID To promote registration amongst people with disabilities and improve the accessibility of the voting process.
